Course Description

The Daily 5 provides a way for teachers to structure literacy and math for teachers to create student independence and allow for individualized attention and one-on-one. It is based on years of experience and compelling brain research. Teachers and schools implementing the Daily 5 will spend less time on classroom management and more time on teaching, help students develop independence, stamina, and accountability, and provide students with abundant time for practicing reading, writing, and math. The Daily 5 increases the time teachers can spend with students one-on-one and in small groups, while also improving schoolwide achievement and success in literacy and math.
