Course Description

Aimed at regular and special education classroom teachers, this course provides the latest in research and practice from the field of positive behavior interventions and support, with foundational principles and practices from applied behavior analysis. It combines with strategies to help students who are struggling academically, are overlooked, underserved, or frustrated. The course melds a multi-tiered system of support for developing positive behaviors in children and youth, with elements from the SIOP Model and the FIT Teaching approach. Learn to set high expectation, use assessment to inform instruction, and change problem behaviors.
