Course Description

Reveals three critical elements of effective reading instruction that will lead to student success in the classroom: the organization of instruction; curriculum design, and instructional delivery as noted by Carnine, Silbert & Kame'enui (1997). Covers the evolution of Reading, and examines key legislation that affects reading instruction. This is the second course in a three-course series. It is recommended, but not required, that these courses be taken in order.
