Course Description

Classroom management issues are one of the leading causes of teacher frustration and burnout. In this practical course, find the solutions for improving your classroom management skills. Evaluate your current practices in light of the latest research. Learn how to analyze problematic behaviors and their cause, and the difference between control and management. Through study of the text No More Taking Away Recess And Other Problematic Discipline Practices, by authors Gianna Cassetta and Brook Sawyer, learn how you can improve your classroom environment so that all students are engaged and real learning can take place. Grades K-8.
