Course Description

This course helps educators create classrooms that are intellectually stimulating so learning can develop individuals who can think, plan, create, question, and engage independently. Making Thinking Visible offers educators research-based solutions for creating a culture of thinking, understanding, and engagement. Ideal for all grade levels and subject areas, diverse learning environments utilize effective questioning, listening, documentation, facilitative structures or thinking routines. Thinking routines are research-based through Harvard’s Project Zero, and scaffold and support student thinking. Thinking becomes visible as learners’ ideas are expressed, discussed, and reflected upon.
