“Many thanks for an intelligently designed course with thoughtful content.” —TINT Student“I am so grateful for all I have learned through this class. Prior to taking this class, I had only a vague surface level knowledge about how iPads can be used in a classroom. I am so excited to use all I have learned in the fall when I begin a teaching job at a district with 1:1 iPad distribution. I am thrilled to be able to use the iPad as an interactive white board and be able to move fluidly through the classroom rather than having to spend more of my time at the front of the classroom. I am also looking forward to seeing how the student’s respond to having an individual iPad for completing their assignments. I also have a much better understanding of how to manage a set of iPads as well as making sure students’ identities are protected online. I would feel overwhelmed with my new position if I hadn’t taken this class. My confidence in using iPads is much stronger after completing these assignments.” —TINT Student
“When I first started this class I was worried about being overwhelmed because there are so many apps for the classroom, and I tend to just stick with the same few I have always used. With so many options out there I often would worry that trying something new wouldn’t be successful and where to even start felt like a burden. The way this course was designed worked perfectly for my learning. Easing into this subject with your Pinterest pages, the videos and then our independent research was great. What I really like about this course is that I will always have the spreadsheet available to me with ideas from other teachers that I can look back on when I want to implement a new app with my students. I would say that this course definitely exceeded my goals. The amount of knowledge that I gained and the resources that I have access to are so valuable.”—TINT Student
