Course Description

Participants will read "Raising the Bar and Closing the Gap:Whatever it Takes". This text offers insight into interventions and enrichment opportunities that are systemic. It addresses the question: "What happens when, despite our best efforts in the classroom, a student does not learn?" It describes how diverse schools throughout the United States have helped struggling students achieve proficiency and enabled proficient students to deepen and extend their learning by creating comprehensive systems of interventions and enrichment.
