Course Description

This course focuses on training music teachers to implement the creative music and movement approach developed by Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman. This approach is known for using movement, speech, and instruments to improvise and compose. Training includes pedagogy, recorder, and movement classes. Participants will gain competencies in the following music Pedagogical concepts: rhythm, melody, harmony, timbre, form, and pedagogy.
