Course Description

If you are a K-12 teacher-librarian, are thinking about becoming a teacher librarian, or simply are interested in how a school library can have a meaningful impact on the culture of a school, Hacking School Libraries is an excellent read. School libraries have the potential to be more inviting and innovative which will ultimately lead to more use by students and their families, staff and community members. This book will change the way you view school libraries, and includes tips on how to set up the space, how to get students more involved in the library and how to advocate the importance of the library.
