K-12 Art Contest: Watch Me Grow! 

In the Fall of 2019, SPU's Center for Professional Education is sponsoring a K-12 art contest! The theme of this year's contest is "Watch Me Grow," and we're asking all artists to create beautiful, creative representations of how a past (or current) teacher has helped you to grow, develop, and reach your full potential at school. Maybe a teacher encouraged you by listening to you when you were sad, gave you a second chance when you really needed it, made you feel welcome in a new school, showed you what you were capable of by nominating you for a part in the school play, or helped you grasp a difficult math concept by making learning fun in his classroom. Create an original work of art expressing this experience and enter it in our contest! 

Winners will receive a $50.00 gift card as well as potential publication of their original artwork on the SPU website and future SPU mailings. 

Contests will mail their original artwork and a completed, signed entry form to:
