  • EDSE 5075 Trends in Early Childhood Special Education (3) | Online Winter Quarter 
  • EDSE 5081 Special Ed. Assessment & IEP (3) | Summer Intensive, SPU Campus 
  • EDSE 5127 Severe Disabilities (3) | Summer Intensive, SPU Campus
  • EDSE 5653 Teaching Reading to Exceptional Students (3) | Summer Intensive, SPU Campus

Elective Coursework  6–10 elective credits are required to complete the 38–40 total required credits for the Special Education Endorsement.

  • EDCT 5488 Multi-Tier System of Support to Improve Literacy & Behavior Outcomes for English Learners | Summer Intensive, SPU Campus
    or
  • EDCT 5411 Response to Intervention: Changing How We Do Business (5) | Distance Learning 

Choose ONE of the following:  

  • EDSE 5939 Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders (5) | Distance Learning

2. Take The WEST-E Special Education (070)

3. Complete EDCN 5730 Field Experience (5) To be completed after all other coursework is completed & WEST-E is passed.
