Seattle Pacific University is proud to partner with NAEYC to offer either credit or clock hours for educators attending this conference.


•    Option 1: GRADUATE-LEVEL CREDITS 
 
Requirements to apply for either one or two graduate credits through SPU: 
o    ATTENDANCE: At least 10 hours of attendance at the conference sessions is required per credit. In other words, you must attend two or more full days of the conference (or the equivalent number of conference sessions) for one credit. 
o    DOCUMENTATION/ASSIGNMENTS: You are responsible for tracking your own hours of attendance and documenting the hours by submitting the Credit Documentation Assignment (Click to view requirements.) Please review instructions carefully as incomplete assignments will be discarded. 
o    SUBMISSION DEADLINE: You will need to complete and submit the cover sheet and required assignments by November 28, 2018. (Emails and faxes must be received by this date; this is the postmark date for mailed submissions.)
o    REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT: Once your submission is reviewed and approved, a registration link will be emailed to you on or before Friday, November 30, 2018. You will register and submit payment for your credits through our website. Payment can only be accepted as this last step in the process and can only be submitted via credit or debit card through our website. The cost is $55 for 1 credit and $110 for 2 credits. 


•    Option 2: CLOCK HOURS 

Requirements to apply for either one or two CEUs (10 or 20 clock hours) through SPU: 

o    ATTENDANCE: At least 10 hours of attendance at the conference sessions is required per CEU. Therefore, you must attend two or more full days of the conference (or the equivalent number of conference sessions) for one CEU. No partial CEUs will be offered; only submissions with 10+ hours will be honored. 
o    DOCUMENTATION/ASSIGNMENTS: You are responsible for tracking your own hours of attendance and documenting the hours by submitting Clock Hour (CEU) Documentation Assignment. (Click to view requirements.) Please review instructions carefully and follow the checklist provided as incomplete assignments will be discarded. 
o    SUBMISSION DEADLINE: You will need to complete the Clock Hour cover sheet and required assignments by November 28, 2018. (Emails and faxes must be received by this date; this is the postmark date for mailed submissions.)
o    REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT: Once your submission is reviewed and approved, a registration link will be emailed to you on or before Friday, November 30, 2018. You will register and submit payment for your clock hours through our website. Payment can only be accepted as this last step in the process and can only be submitted via credit or debit card through our website. The cost is $20 for 1 CEU and $40 for 2 CEU. 

As listed above, both options require participants to send in documentation/assignments along with a contact email address. 


•  SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • For email submissions:

1. Attached files must be PDF format. 
2. The title of the PDF should be NAEYC, Your Full Name, and the Assignment Title. 
3. Coversheet MUST be signed, scanned, and included as a PDF attachment in the email submission. Without a coversheet, we will not be able to process your requested for registration. 4. Your email subject line should be NAEYC, YOUR NAME. 
5. If at all possible, please send your submission from the same email you list on your coversheet. 
6. Keep in mind you are also welcome to fax or send via postal mail.

1. Coversheet MUST be signed and included as the first page of your packet Without a coversheet, we will not be able to process your requested for registration. 
2. Send entire submission in one envelope. 
3. Letters must be postmarked by June 20th, 2018.
4. Letters addressed to SPU in general will not reach our office. The first line of the address must read: SPU CENTER FOR PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION.   

No payment should be sent with your submission. Payment will be submitted via our website as part of the online registration process. 

•  REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT: 

Registration for Credits / CEUs through SPU’s Center for Professional Education 
You will receive a link to our online registration site after you have submitted both cover sheet and required documentation. The link will be sent to you on or before Friday, November 30, 2018. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose than to send you your registration link, and failure to provide a current email address on your cover sheet will result in the inability to register for the option you chose. 

Online registration for both credit and CEUs will close at 11:59 PM on December 12, 2018. Payment is required at the time of registration, and requires a credit or debit card for processing.

Transcripts can be ordered after December 19, 2018. Please visit Student Academic Services site for transcript information.
