Understand how teacher motivation, teacher-student relationships, and collaborative teaching all affect your career and professional development. Identify key sources of joy that provide a sustainable mental framework for daily life. Discover simple, thoughtful practices to consciously incorporate joy. Embrace cultural concepts that diversify perspectives on joy and its significance.

Learner Outcomes

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Identify and utilize the HEART! principles
  • Identify and utilize the JOY! principles
  • Utilize the seven recommendations of HEART! principles
  • Incorporate, cultivate, and sustain joy in the classroom
