EDCA 5140 - Successful Students Through Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences

Course Description

In this course participants will explore different aspects of theories as to how students learn; explore multiple intelligences and how to incorporate them into lesson plans; and create a classroom environment where each student can be successful. Specific topics will include the four dimensions of learning; analytical and global thinkers; learning modalities; 21 elements of learning style; Jung's Theory of Psychological Type; teaching styles; Mindstyles; and multiple intelligences.

Participants may select credit or clock hours for this course. For credit, participants can register under EDCA 5140 or EDSP 5108. Clock hours are available under CEU 2863.
