Course Description

Endurance and speed training are important components to an athletic and physical education program. The course will take the participant through the essential components for endurance and speed training. Participants will learn the physiology of training, program design and the methodology in which to develop workouts, training schedules and activities which improve endurance and speed in physical education classes as well as in athletics. Participants will be able to evaluate and critique their lessons and training sessions as they develop an understanding of endurance and speed training and methods for implementation.
