Course Description

Flexibility is a key component of fitness and athletic performance. Good flexibility and range of motion will enhance speed, strength, and power. Also, as a person ages flexibility exercises become even more important. The course will cover the benefits of flexibility training, introduce a wide array of flexibility exercises, proper technique, exercise selection for various activities, events and sports. Student/athletes will benefit and perform better in physical education class and in athletics given the opportunity to improve their flexibility.

Course is self-Paced. Completion time: up to one year from date of enrollment.

Refund Policy: Withdrawals submitted online through SPU within 3 days of enrollment will receive a 100% refund. Withdrawal requests submitted within 21 days of enrollment will receive a 95% refund. No refunds will be given after 21 days, and no withdrawals will be accepted after the end date of the course. Please return all course materials you have received.
