Course Description

Participants will experience a variety of proven techniques and strategies based on principles and practices known as SongWorks. Presentations of activities for developing music, reading, listening, language, and social skills in elementary and preschool age children are intended to broaden the teacher's scope of activities and practices with the goal of improving the teaching and learning experience for the students and the teacher. The conference includes classroom observation sessions where participants will observe experienced teachers applying the SongWorks principles and practices with primary age children.

Prerequisites

This course can either be taken for credit or clock hours. Credit is available under EDMU 5588.
