Course Description

Explores the role of math, science, the arts, health, safety and physical education in the development and education of young children ages’ infant to age 8. Shares approaches to planning, managing, delivering and assessing instruction. Examines the concepts of teaching developmentally appropriate practices for the development of the whole child. Enables participants to draw on social, cultural and historical foundations and learning theories as they plan instruction.
